What foods remind you of home? Were you born in the same place as your parents? Or has your family travelled far to get you where you are? Have you ever visited your grandparents’ birthplace? Is Rochester where you feel you truly belong?
We invite you to join us at the Huguenot Museum for an afternoon of activities and story-telling, exploring heritage, identity, belonging and the effects of displacement. We will be sharing recipes, mapping our families’ journeys and creating imaginary family photographs.
This event is part of Refugee Week 2017.
All the activities are child-friendly!
24th of June, 2017, 2-4.30pm, Huguenot Museum, Rochester, UK.
